Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai last night met with the SADC Facilitator, President Jacob Zuma, to deliberate on the environment in Zimbabwe ahead of the next election.
The meeting with President Zuma was the first during the Prime Minister’s regional tour, as well as other countries in Africa, to sensitize Heads of State on developments in Zimbabwe where the guarantors, SADC and the African Union,should ensure that the environment is conducive to the holding of a free and fair election.

During his current regional tour, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai on Sunday met with prominent human rights activist, Reverend Jesse Jackson who is currently in Johannesburg, South Africa. Rev Jackson is keen on visiting Zimbabwe soon.

Economy improving despite hardships - PM |

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai said Friday the economy of Zimbabwe is improving as shown by the number of local exhibitors at the 2013 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
Speaking to journalists after touring the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission and the Office of the Prime Minister stand in Hall 2, the Premier said despite the hardships faced in the country, local industries had managed to exhibit.

Deputy Prime Minister Thokozani Khupe has implored the police to uphold values of the force that include balance, fairness and transparency.
Touring the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) stand at the ongoing 2013 Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) DPM Khupe said if police were working according to their values, there would be fewer problems in the country.
