Disabled children from Domboshawa were in for a rare treat last Friday when Labor and Social services Minister, Paurina Mpariwa donated foodstuffs at Zimbusi Primary School
The children got a hamper with cooking oil, soap, 2litre juice and rice among other things at a ceremony to show that the community should not shun such children, as they are gifts from God.

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai joined other world leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF), in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland last week, to find solutions to the challenges facing the global economy.
WEF, an independant international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas, brings together leaders from around the globe.

Makumbe exceptional person-PM |

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has described the late John Makumbe as one of the main architects behind the crafting of the draft constitution, which will be tabled before Parliament next week.
The draft constitution will subsequently be put to a referendum this year if ratified by Parliament.

VP Nkomo declared a national hero, died last week after succumbing to cancer.

Prime Minister's statement on the new constitution |

"We must commit ourselves to hold a free, fair and successful referendum and also, critically, to ensure the implementation of the new constitution once it is adopted as the supreme law of the land. We owe it to ourselves as a people, to our partners and indeed, to future generations," Prime Minister Tsvangirai said Thursday on the occasion of announcing the GPA principals agreement on sticking issues of the new constitution.
