PM-Tsvangirai to launch government work Programme Thursday

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai will on Thursday 9 am launch the 2012 Government Work Programme for adoption by Ministries at Rainbow Towers hotel in Harare.

The event will be attended by all Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent secretaries and senior government officials.

The Prime Minister is overally in charge of the formulation and implementation of all government policies and programmes.

The formulation of the 2012 GWP critical path targets was guided by the Medium Term Plan and the budget statement.

The Prime Minister will give the keynote address.

Various cluster leaders will give presentations on the key programmes of their ministries in the year 2012.
